Passed away peacefully on Friday 24th January 2025 at Strathearn House.  Late of Scone.  Aged a remarkable 99 years.  Much loved daughter of Herbert and Albertina (both deceased).  Precious and adored sister of Peg (deceased), Dot, Elaine, Ruby (deceased) and Doug.  Sadly, missed by all her family and friends.  A celebration of Mavis’ life was held on Monday 3rd February 2025 in St Mark’s Anglican Church, Moray Street, Aberdeen NSW followed by interment in the Aberdeen Lawn Cemetery, Segenhoe Street, Aberdeen NSW.  If you would like to let the Avard family know you are thinking of them, please access the Condolence register on our website to send them a message of love and support.  The livestream of Mavis’ service is available to be viewed via the following link: AVARD: Mavis Doreen
