Passed away suddenly on Monday 5th October 2026.  Late of Merriwa and formerly of Newcastle.  Aged 78 years.  Loving husband of Pam.  Loved father and father-in-law of Shir and Colin, Trish and Brad.  Much loved Pop to Lana and Matt, Brody, Jackson, Mason, Chelsey, Reece, Ethan, Rubie and Hunter.  Great-pop to Aurora, Riley, Elijah and Grayson.  Sadly, missed by all his family and friends.  A funeral service for Robert will be held on Thursday 22nd October 2026 in St Anne’s Catholic Church, 9 Vennacher Street, Merriwa NSW commencing at 11.30am followed by burial in the Merriwa Lawn Cemetery, Flaggs Road, Merriwa NSW.  If you would like to let Robert’s family know you are thinking of them, please access the Condolence register on our website to send them a message of love and support.  The livestream of Robert’s service is available to be viewed via the following link: HYDE: Robert David (Bommer)
