Passed away at the Calvary Mercy Hospice in Waratah West ~ Ackland joined his Ancestors in eternal Dreaming on Good Friday morning, Friday 3 April 2026. Ackland’s final days were spent surrounded by his six children, four grandchildren, sisters, nieces, nephews, best friends and loving family. Ackland was the proud father of Merredy, Jennetta, Thomas, Jarcara, Kira Lee & Tesharnhi and even prouder Poppy to Tobie, Fraser Ackland, Nullah and Annetta Kathy Pearl. Ack was loved by many. His legacy will live on through his beautiful children and grandchildren. A service will be held at Hope City Church, Common Road, Muswellbrook NSW on Friday 8 May commencing at 1pm. Family have asked attendees to please wear Tigers shirts /or black & orange to celebrate Ack’s life and love for his favourite footy team.
