With deep sadness we announce the passing of Therese Mary Furlong (née O’Neill) on 20 November 2025 in Tamworth, NSW. Late of Muswellbrook, and formerly of Mascot. Beloved mother of Caitlin, John and Brigid, and cherished sister to Carmel, Joanne and Kevin, she is remembered for her warmth, kindness and resilience. After a long battle with illness, Therese is now at peace and re-united with her parents, June and John, and her late brother, Michael. Family and friends celebrated Therese’s life on Friday 28 November 2025, at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Corner of Park and Short Streets, Scone followed by “The Final Furlong” held at Scone Racecourse.
